not stable as strong acide, alkalis, aldehydes, ethers, etc.  
Nylon is kept stable under exposure to the following chemicals as alkalis, alcohol, dry cleaning solvents, halogenated
hydrocarbons, hydrocarbons, ketones, crude oil, lubricating oil, soaps, detergents, ethers, water, aldehydes, etc, and not
stable as acid, bleaching agent, etc.
